CS2 更新至 Animgraph 2 動畫系統，降低 CPU 和網路負載，所有第三人稱動畫已重新製作，並優化了空中蹲下的過渡效果。同時改進了斜坡表面的玩家高度計算邏輯，使其不再受接近方向影響，但可能導致斜坡上的手榴彈投擲定位點發生變化。此外還更新了 Source 2 引擎、改善音效系統（包括跳躍落地音、C4 裝備音效等），並修復了玩家遮擋穿牆、介面音效遺失等問題。
