BIG已經透露，nex已經從正選陣容中退出，因為nex的手腕傷勢令到他需要接受手術。
這個公告是BIG在星期日(23號)簽入了土耳其選手XANTARES之後宣布的，因為BIG當時沒有具體說明XANTARES將在目前陣容中上取代哪一個隊員。
BIG現在補充說，nex其實一直有手腕疼痛，nex跟BIG雙方協議後決定於ESL職業聯賽第8賽季決賽后讓nex暫退出比賽以接受治療，其中包括接受手術，並於這段時間離開隊伍。

BIG還證實，XANTARES是陣容上的一個正式隊員並非臨時替補，所以就讓nex在隊伍中的未來發展充滿疑問。
“After a very turbulent and successful year 2018, we want to aim even higher in the upcoming periods. For months, Johannes “nex” Maget has been suffering from wrist pain, which affected his performance,” BIG‘s CEO, Daniel Finkler, said in the announcement.
