Gambit在2月份進行了他們的最後一場正式比賽，當時他們在ECS S7挑戰者杯預選賽#3的四強中以1比2輸給Epsilon後。從那以後，bondik離開了Gambit並加入了Winstrike，而Ax1Le就被調入Gambit的青訓軍Gambit Youngsters之中繼續比賽。

“You have to keep in mind that we have to adhere to multiple diverse criteria to form this line-up. For instance, apart from high individual skill and competitive experience requirements, there has to be a psychological compatibility between players. Our pool of potential candidates is getting significantly narrower, since we are assembling a Russian speaking line-up. With that in mind there’s only a handful of suitable candidates. Over the past two months we’ve been conducting a series of negotiations, however, a suitable combination of players hasn’t formed to this day. There isn’t a lot of time left until the beginning of a qualification cycle for the Major, therefore we made a decision not to settle on a suboptimal solution. Our goal is to assemble a competitive line-up until the end of 2019 and to support it to the best of our ability.”
